Reasons to eat slowly

Reasons to eat slowly One of the problems of our days running is that we do not have time for anything ... and when we have to eat, we eat. This leads us to stress, living an extremely unhealthy.

And with the simple act of eating slower, we can revert this situation. Eating a small amount at a time, chewing slowly, so as to better enjoy the meal. The meal takes a few minutes longer, but the benefits are worth.

5 powerful reasons for eating slowly:

1 - Lose Weight
A growing number of studies confirm that just the thought of eating more slowly causes you to consume fewer calories. The reason is that our brain takes 20 minutes to process that we are satisfied. If we eat fast, we can move from where we are satisfied, and we eat more. If you eat slowly give the brain time to process that we are satisfied and stop.

2 - Enjoy food
It's hard to taste the food is going to eat fast. You can even eat sweets, but do it slowly (to feel like you're eating) and in small quantity. You want to eat food "superfluous" (or sinful?) Because he has good taste. But eat them quickly for what? Eat less and more slowly. You'll be more satisfied with much less and consequently ingest fewer calories. Make your meals a gastronomic pleasure, not a thing to be done hastily and without pleasure.

3 - Improve Digestion
If you eat slowly and chew more food will have better digestion. Digestion begins in the mouth, so the more work you do up there, your stomach will have less work. This may lead you to less digestive problems.

4 - Reduce Stress
Eat slowly, pay attention to our food can be a great exercise in concentration. Is concentrated at that time, no need to wonder what to do next. When you eat, you should eat. This kind of attention can lead you to a life less stressful.

5 - To rebel against the fast food and life race
The rush of everyday life leads us to eat fast food and eat quickly. It's a lifestyle inhuman and evil to our health. We always hurry, without having time to enjoy life. Rebel against this lifestyle ... with a small act of eating slower. Avoid fast food, eat in good restaurants, or better yet, cook your own food whenever possible and to enjoy fully. Add spice to your life.

8 or 80 or - Radical brings no results

8 or 80 or - Radical brings no results One of the biggest mistakes made by those who fight the burden is to adopt radical measures like closing the mouth, excessive exercise, cut all sugars, carbohydrates or any food group. Diets that cut whole groups of foods must be well managed so as not to cause future problems.

These radical measures to close the mouth is by far the worst and most harmful to the body as a whole. Our body still behaves as if he were living there 100,000 years ago. Changes in DNA of species not naturally occurring so fast for our bodies to adapt to a sedentary life we lead today. Sedentary in the sense that we are no longer nomadic, moving from side to side of the planet looking for food and shelter. Our body does not know that we now have food in abundance and no need to defend our security staff fighting predators.

It should make the French bread on the menu?

In almost every circle of friends where the subject is diet has a phrase like "stop eating bread (and sometimes even rice) you'll lose weight."

Sorry but I disagree. I do not agree and can not resist.

What is the use of a restrictive diet? Carbohydrates must be yes , in our food. Like proteins, vegetables, fiber, etc.. What we care is that quantity. If you think a whole loaf of salt is very calorie, eat half. People with lots of daily activities can eat up more.

Now the bread, rich in fiber is more healthy, with "less processed flour." I alternate, week wholemeal bread, other bread, salt. And sometimes merges day one, day one as well. But even I can not resist the delicious roll of salt.
